Although the exact origins of the cowgirl hat are unknown, it is believed that they were developed in the American West during the late 1800s. At that time, women who worked on ranches and farms began to adopt masculine styles of clothing, including hats, in order to better fit in with their male counterparts.

The most iconic cowgirl hats pink is probably the pink straw version with a wide brim and a turned-up brim. This style was popularized by celebrities like Roy Rogers and Dale Evans in the 1940s and 1950s. Today, cowgirl hats are still worn by many women in the American West as a symbol of their independent spirit.
