The primary component in Tadacip 20 tablets is tadalafil, which acts on the erectile tissue of the penis to enhance blood flow and produce an erection. The penis' erectile tissue releases nitric oxide during sexual stimulation, activating the enzyme guanylate cyclase. This protein increases the amounts of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), a substance that causes the penis's veins to unwind and allows blood to enter the spongy erectile tissues, resulting in an erection. An erection is lost when cGMP is separated from the blood stream in the penis by a different substance known as phosphodiesterase kind 5 (PDE5).
